Proclamation Day Celebrations
Proclamation Day was celebrated in Coláiste na Toirbhirte on 15th March 2016 at 12 noon. Tom O’Sullivan represented James Connolly and was master of ceremonies. Pat O’Leary represented Tom Clarke and arrived in a 1915 Vintage Car and raised the Tricolor. The school band, choir and soloists performed a range of appropriate tunes including The Foggy Dew, The National Anthem, and A Nation Once Again. The fallen were honoured in a ceremony that will be a treasured memory for all who participated.
