Congratulations to our Leaving Certificate Applied students who entered the Charlie Chaplin Film Festival and were shortlisted from 220 entries to the final 10 in the Chaplins of the Future category. They were among entries from Spain, Argentina, the USA and one other film from Ireland.
Zerica, Emily, Rachel and Amy attended a screening of their film in Waterville Co Kerry – home of the Chaplin Festival during the 2017 Festival.
They attended a film workshop run by Mr Rory Fellowes known for his work on the Harry Potter film Chamber of Secrets. They also took part in a World Record attempt for the most Chaplins gathered together!
Well done also to their teachers Ms Warren and Ms Wilcox who worked on the film with them.
We are very proud of your achievement girls and look forward to the school screening.
